BACKSTAY #1 

Endless 12:1 system that allows trimming from either side of the cockpit. Suitable for fractionally rigged boats up to 10m (33ft).

BACKSTAY #2 

Powerful 24:1 system that utilizes a double cascade to provide maximum power with minimum friction. Tail is lead out to an RF5 swivel cleat base on the cockpit floor for ease of operation from either side of the boat. Suitable for fractionally rigged boats to 12m (40ft) in length.

BACKSTAY #3 

Popular on cruising yachts up to 11m (35ft) in length with masthead rigs, this system provides good mechanical advantage, and quick adjustment.

BACKSTAY #4 

Stronger version of system #3 to suit mast head yachts up to 12m (40ft). 
A Triangular link plate is used in lieu of the ring for the 3 wire blocks.

VARIATIONS :Control line load can be further reduced by increasing the final 6:1 Orbit Block™ system to 9:1 using an RF55410 Quad block to replace the RF56310, and with an RF45201 piggy backed off the RF56330B bottom block using an RF5004-09 Dyneema® link.

RUNNER #1 

A winchless running backstay system featuring coarse and fine tune sheeting. Suitable for use on racing boats to 9m (30ft), where weight savings are critical. Cascade and fine tune tackle can be hidden below deck, false floor, or in cockpit floor ribs.
